This is the roller mill at the heart of our production line — the stage where raw maize becomes the uniform, digestible flake our customers order by the tonne. A few details on what makes it work:
- Body and feed unit built entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel
- Twin 500 × 900 mm flaking rollers, hardened to 55–58 HRC
- Flake thickness adjustable from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm via moving-roller control
- Roller gap tracked by an encoder sensor for repeatable precision
- Direct-coupled geared motor eliminates transmission power loss
- Frequency-inverter drum rotor distributes product evenly across the rollers
- Self-cleaning rollers via scraper plates, with observation hatches for quick inspection
- Twin 10,000-Gauss magnetic separators to protect product purity
